An exhibition of residents’ personal photographs reworked digitally by artist Axelle Russo and displayed in the windows of Ruby Road.
The original photographs, representing personal memories, were submitted following an open call from the artist via a WhatsApp neighbour group.
This exhibition is a joyful nod to the various window displays made in the borough by local residents during the lockdowns.
Social interactions have been severed then redefined by the Covid-19 pandemic, and art is a powerful way to connect with each other,
break up isolation and lift our spirits. Residents taking part now share their individual identity and values with the outside world through showing everyday images.
